Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies Pty., Welshpool Branch, is seeking a reliable Storesperson / Warehouse Assistant to join the team. This practical role involves receiving stock, picking, packing and dispatch preparation, and helping maintain accurate stock while developing knowledge of industrial products.

You will work with an experienced team, follow safety procedures, operate a forklift, and contribute to a clean, well-organised warehouse.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial products.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Current driver's licence preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receiving incoming stock and ensuring it is accurately receipted and stored.
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Maintaining accurate stock and helping minimise stock discrepancies.
• Assisting with general warehouse and branch duties as required.
• Forklift operation.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
