Job summary

Big River Group is seeking a reliable Warehouse Store Person to join our Johns Building Supplies site in Welshpool, WA. This is a hands-on role focused on warehouse operations, stock management, and ensuring goods are stored, handled, and dispatched safely and efficiently.

You will work with a team to maintain accurate stock, load and unload vehicles, and uphold WHS standards, with opportunities for career progression at a long-established, publicly listed Australian company.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is essential.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks in line with procedures
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organising stock
• Pick and prepare orders accurately and on time
• Store materials in correct warehouse locations
• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure work areas are clean and safe
• Support dispatch operations and liaise with team members for workflow efficiency
• Uphold all workplace health and safety requirements
