Job summary

Freedom Furniture’s Kings Park NSW Distribution Centre is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson LO/LF Licensed to handle and move furniture items in a fast-paced environment. You will operate lift order picking equipment, receive and dispatch stock, and ensure inventory accuracy with RF scanning.

The role requires 2+ years of lift order picking experience, LO/LF licenses, and the ability to work safely at heights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience of lift order platform picking in a high-volume warehouse.
• LF and LO licenses with experience in both are mandatory.
• Comfortable working at heights of 8+ metres for extended periods.
• Physically fit and capable of handling bulky furniture items.
• Reliable and committed to Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift order picking equipment at heights of 8+ metres.
• Manually receive, dispatch and store stock with care.
• Conduct pre-work safety checks on forklifts, order pickers and turret trucks.
• Use RF scanning technology to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Work across multiple teams and adapt to different tasks as needed.
• Contribute to a safe working environment through WH&S compliance.

What You’ll Be Working On

In this physically active role, you’ll be responsible for the careful handling and movement of furniture products throughout our distribution centre. Your day will involve:

• Operating lift order picking equipment at heights of 8+ metres

You’ll work in a fast-paced warehouse, handling a diverse range of furniture products including lounges, buffets, tables and chairs.

What Type of Person Will Succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 2+ years experience of lift order platform picking in a high-volume warehouse (30+ team members)
• LF and LO licenses with experience in both are mandatory
• Comfortable working at heights of 8+ metres for extended periods
• Physically fit and capable of handling bulky, heavy furniture items
• Reliable and committed to working Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts
• Proficient with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems
• Adaptable and happy to work across different teams and tasks
