Job summary

Freedom Furniture Australia Pty Limited in Kotara is seeking a dedicated warehouse team member for a full-time role. You will work with a small team, handle manual lifting, stock receipting, dispatching, assembly, and stock control while delivering friendly customer service at the store.

We value readiness to learn, a positive attitude, good communication, and basic computer skills, plus adherence to WH&S standards. Availability for weekends and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• You must be physically fit for lifting heavy stock.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Intermediate computer skills and awareness of WH&S standards.

What you'll be doing

This is a full time opportunity to join our Kotara store. Working as part of a team at a small warehouse at the store, you must be physically fit for lifting of heavy stock. Your responsibilities will include:

• Manual shifting, lifting, receiving, dispatching and storing stock within the warehouse.
• Receipting of stock.
• Assisting customers when dispatching stock.
• Assembly of products.
• Stock and inventory management.

You will have a strong desire to learn and to make a difference; a positive and proactive attitude; effective communication and intermediate computer skills, as well as an awareness of WH&S standards.
