Job summary

Freedom Australia is seeking a warehouse team member for our store in the Alexandria area. You will be part of a small warehouse team, physically fit for heavy lifting, handling stock receipting, dispatching, and general duties.

You will support customer dispatches, assist with stock control, and partake in a development-friendly environment with an emphasis on WH&S. Weekend work may be required and a staff discount applies.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit for lifting heavy stock.
• Intermediate computer skills and WH&S awareness.
• Positive, proactive attitude and good communication within a team.

• Manual shifting, lifting, receiving, dispatching and storing stock within the warehouse.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a full time opportunity to join our Alexandria store. Working as part of a team at a small warehouse at the store, you must be physically fit for lifting of heavy stock. Your responsibilities will include:

• Manual shifting, lifting, receiving, dispatching and storing stock within the warehouse.


• Receipting of stock.


• Assisting customers when dispatching stock.


• General housekeeping duties.


• Assembly of products.


• Stock and inventory management.

You will have a strong desire to learn and to make a difference; a positive and proactive attitude; effective communication and intermediate computer skills, as well as an awareness of WH&S standards.

Note: Weekend work may be required
