Job summary

O’Brien is seeking a hands-on, reliable Warehouse Storeperson with a current Forklift and HR Driver Licence to join our National Distribution Centre in Altona. This is a stable, long-term role with a respected national brand.

You’ll handle forklift tasks, loading and unloading, organise dispatches, and ensure safe stock management while maintaining accurate deliveries. Hours are 9.00am–5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available as warehouse needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Warehouse Storeperson with forklift operations.
• Must have a current HR Driver Licence.
• Ability to assist with deliveries and stock movement.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Storeperson with a current Forklift and HR Drivers licence who enjoys a mix of warehouse Forklift and and delivery work.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are safely handled, accurately dispatched and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory management and stock deliveries
• Forklift Operation
• Organising dispatches and packing stock
• Loading and unloading windscreens as required
• Maintaining safe work practices at all times
• Minimising breakage through correct handling and stock management
• Keeping the warehouse and yard clean, organised and safe

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you are safety-focused, organised and enjoy physical, hands-on work.

We’re looking for:

• A current HR Driver’s Licence
• Previous experience as a Storeperson and Driving experience
• Current Forklift Licence
• Strong time management and the ability to organise your day
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Physically fit and able to lift/pick glass products safely
• A reliable, positive and team-oriented attitude
