Job summary

Cospak Newcastle is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a casual role at our Beresfield branch. The position supports the warehouse with devanning, stock picking, dispatch help, and stock movements. Forklift and reach truck operations are required, with regular cycle counts and pallet management.

This role is 3–4 weeks initially, Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm, with flexibility. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a warehouse environment including pick/packing experience.
• Understanding of Safety and Quality.
• Attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise workload.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work unsupervised.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Manual Handling up to 20kg required.
• Hours vary: Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm.
• Visa sponsorship is NOT available; applicants must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• De-vanning, stock picking, assisting with dispatch of products and customer collections.

We have an exciting casual opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operator to support our Beresfield branch.

This is a casual role with an initial 3-4 week block of work to help out our team as we gear up for a a busy year end and to support with leave coverage.

The role:

This role will support the warehouse with a variety of duties inclusive of; devanning, stock picking, helping with dispatch of products, customer collections, stock movements. You will need to use a forklift and reach to load / unload trucks, moving goods around the warehouse and doing regular cycle counts and pallet management.

Skills Required

Forklift Licence (LF) and Forklift driving experience

High Reach Forklift experience

1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment including pick/packing experience

Understanding of Safety and Quality

Attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise workload

Ability to follow instructions accurately and work unsupervised

Ability to work wellin a team environmentand contribute positively to the warehouse team

Manual Handling up to 20kg required

Strong work ethic

Hours will vary Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4.30pm. Flexibility will be required.
