Job summary

San Miguel Yamamura Australasia (SMYA) is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator for our Wantirna South branch. The role encompasses stock control, inbound/outbound processing, and forklift operations across a busy warehouse.

Ideal candidates will hold a Forklift LF license, have 1–2 years in warehousing, and be able to work weekdays with varying hours. A pre-employment medical is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Forklift License (LF) and forklift driving experience.
• High Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience.
• 1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment including pick/packing.
• Understanding of safety and quality.
• Attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise workload.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work unsupervised.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to the warehouse team.
• Manual Handling up to 20kg required.
• Strong work ethic.
• RF scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Stock control ensuring all inwards and outwards goods have correct documentation.
• Receipt of inwards goods and storage.
• Dispatch of outwards goods.
• Operation of machinery inclusive of forklift to load and unload trucks, pick and move stock around the warehouse.
• Perform quality checks to ensure inwards goods are intact and outwards goods are free from damage.

We have an exciting full time opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team in our Wantirna South branch.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Stock control ensuring all inwards and outwards good have correct documentation

Receipt of inwards goods and storage

Dispatch of outwards goods

Operation of machinery inclusive of forklift to load and unload trucks, pick and move stock around the warehouse

Perform quality checks to ensure inwards goods are in tact and outwards goods are free from damage
