Job summary

Gelatissimo is seeking an experienced Casual Warehouse Storeperson to join our warehouse and logistics team in Rydalmere. This role involves picking, packing, stock movements, forklift operation, freezer work, and dispatch support across the full warehouse cycle.

The successful candidate should have a current LF forklift licence, high-reach forklift experience, and a background in food/FMCG warehousing. The position offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute across the entire warehouse

Qualifications

• Current Australian Forklift Licence (LF) required.

• Previous warehouse/storeperson experience.
• Experience with picking, packing, receivals and stock movements.
• Ability and willingness to work in freezer and cold-storage environments.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a warehouse role.
• Good attention to detail and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operating high-reach and other forklifts for stock movements and put-away.
• Receiving and checking incoming stock.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Putting stock away and maintaining correct stock locations.
• Assisting with pick, pack and dispatch operations.
• Working within freezer and cold-storage areas as required.
• Stock rotation and assisting with stocktakes.
• Labelling and general warehouse activities.
• Assisting with transport and delivery preparation.
• Providing support across warehouse operations during busy periods and staff leave.
• Maintaining clean, organised and orderly warehouse work areas.
• Following WHS procedures, safe work practices and food-safety requirements.
• Reporting hazards, damaged stock or equipment and other safety concerns.
• Supporting the wider warehouse and logistics team wherever required.

Gelatissimo is looking for an experienced and reliable Casual Warehouse Storeperson to join our warehouse and logistics team in Rydalmere.

We are looking for a genuine warehouse all-rounder who is comfortable working across all areas of the operation. This isn't just a pick-and-pack role — you’ll be involved in receivals, high-reach forklift operations, stock movements, freezer work, order picking and packing, dispatch support and general warehouse activities.

We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things properly and is willing to jump in wherever the team needs support.

What you’ll need

Job Requirements:

• Current Australian Forklift Licence (LF)
• Demonstrated high-reach forklift experience
• Previous warehouse/storeperson experience
• Experience with picking, packing, receivals and stock movements
• Ability and willingness to work in freezer and cold-storage environments
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a warehouse role
• Good attention to detail and a strong safety focus
• Reliable and punctual with good availability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in food, FMCG or temperature-controlled warehousing
• Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• LR manual truck licence or higher

You’ll be someone who is happy to move between different tasks depending on what needs to be done. You might be operating the high-reach forklift and putting stock away, helping with receivals, picking customer orders, preparing dispatches or supporting the team in the freezer.

We value people who are reliable, punctual, safety-conscious and willing to help the team get the job done. Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe is everyone's responsibility.

While this is a casual position, we are looking for someone who can become a reliable and consistent member of our warehouse team, with approximately 25–35 hours per week available depending on operational requirements.
