Warehouse Receiving - Food Distribution | Monday to Friday

Join a well-established food distribution business and become part of a high-performing warehouse team. This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Receiving Assistant with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of inbound stock processes.

Working Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:06pm, you’ll have your afternoons free and the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right person.

The Role

You’ll play an important part in ensuring stock is received accurately and efficiently, working closely with the warehouse and operational teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and checking incoming stock
• Cross-checking deliveries against purchase orders and documentation
• Entering and recording stock accurately into warehouse systems
• Identifying and investigating discrepancies, damages and missing stock
• Maintaining an organised and compliant receiving area
• Investigating stock variances and supporting stock control processes
• Working closely with warehouse and operational teams
• Contributing to continuous improvement across receiving and inventory processes

You’ll ideally have:
