Job summary

I Place People Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Warehouse Picker and Packer for a national distribution operation in Queensland. The role is hands-on, rotational, and focuses on picking, packing, and dispatching hardware and suspension components for trucks, buses, and 4x4 vehicles.

You will learn warehouse systems and computer processes while supporting daily operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will perform loading/unloading, stock receiving, stock transfers, and quality

Qualifications

• Senior Certificate (Year 12 or equivalent) is required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred, automotive/mechanical parts exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and good English are required.
• Can-do attitude with initiative and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Accurate and timely picking and packing of orders
• Receiving and unpacking containers
• Processing stock transfers and branch allocations
• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
• Consolidating and maintaining stock levels
• Inspecting inventory for damage or faults
• Maintaining a clean, organised warehouse
• Participating in stocktakes
• Ensuring a high level of customer service
• Learning all warehouse systems, including computer processes
