Job summary

Cargroomers International in Queensland seeks a reliable store order pick packer to join our manufacturing and warehouse site in Yalata. The role is casual (up to 38 hours per week) with potential to move to full-time.

You will be responsible for picking and packing orders, loading and unloading goods, quality checking, and operating pallet wrapping equipment and forklifts. Basic computer skills and a current Australian driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in picking and packing orders.
• Ability to use an electronic device for order picking.
• Willingness to load/unload goods and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Picking & Packing of customer orders.
• Picking orders via an electronic device; some basic computer skill required.
• Loading & unloading of incoming and outgoing goods onto trucks.
• Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching goods.

Cargroomers International is an Australian owned and operated manufacture of performance cleaning products to the automotive Industry to Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking an enthusiastic team player who is well organised and shows attention to detail to take on this role of store order pick packer currently available within our manufacturing and warehouse site in Yalata Queensland.

Duties and Requirements of the role:

Picking & Packing of customer orders.

Picking orders via an electronic device, so some basic computer skill is needed.

Loading & unloading of all incoming and outgoing goods on to trucks.

Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching goods.

Operating machines such as wrapping pallets and forklifts.

Our Ideal Candidate would possess:

Forklift license (not essential but an advantage)

LO Picker license (not essential but an advantage)

Must have a current Australian driver's license.

No medical limitations in regards to physical lifting and handling heavy materials within Workplace Safety Limitations.

Be able to pass a medical , drug and alcohol test.

Available to work extra hours during busy periods.

Able to use logic to problem solve.

Able to show initiative and work unsupervised and be able to follow procedures.

The position will be casual (up to 38 hours per week), Monday-Friday, with a view to full time employment to join our team after this period.
