Job summary

Mace Engineering Group is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Melbourne. You will work under the Warehouse Manager, performing hands-on duties to keep daily warehouse operations running smoothly.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, ability to lift medium to heavy items, and basic computer skills. It is a full-time day shift with approx. 40 hours per week and hourly pay of $31–$33.

Qualifications

• Minimum VCE or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• Experience with pick‑and‑pack operations (preferred).
• Physically fit and able to lift medium to heavy items.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack products for dispatch.
• Receive and inspect inward goods, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Document and record goods, materials, and components.
• Process and package products, label items, and organise shelving.
• Assist with stock control and regular stock takes.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.
• Operate manual and material handling equipment (pallet stacker) for loading and unloading.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment.
