Job summary

Lawrence & Hanson is Australia’s leading electrical wholesaler with a long heritage and national branch network. This role sits in the Supply team to ensure optimum fulfilment centre performance through accurate stock handling and order release.

A strong eye for detail, warehouse experience and a can-do attitude are essential. You will be involved in receiving stock, picking, packing and dispatching orders, inventory checks, and maintaining safe, efficient warehouse operations across a busy

Qualifications

• A strong eye for detail and accuracy in stock handling.
• Experience in a warehouse environment with the ability to multi-task.
• Organised, with a can-do attitude and safety minded.
• Product knowledge in electrical, industrial or safety markets is desirable.
• RF scanning experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health & Safety practices and maintain a safe working environment.
• Accurately picking, packing and dispatching customer and branch orders.
• Receive stock, check against delivery advice and store correctly.
• Move inventory using available technology and ensure accurate records.
• Complete inventory checks, cyclic counts and participate in stocktakes.
• Release and invoice orders and maintain warehouse housekeeping.
• Handle cable cutting accurately (where trained) with minimal wastage.

How can I tell if this is for me?

• A strong eye for detail
• Experience in a warehouse
• You will be organised, with a can-do attitude
• Forklift Licence ideally with experience on counterbalance and high reach
• You have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Product knowledge and experience in the electrical, industrial or safety markets is desirable, but not essential
• RF scanning experience well regarded
