Job summary

Findstaff is recruiting for a warehouse coordinator on behalf of a fast-growing Australian company on the Gold Coast. You will coordinate storage and distribution, support warehouse operations, manage inventory movements, and assist with counter duties as required.

You will ensure FIFO, handle returns, check stock on arrival, and support safety and showroom stocking. The role requires a forklift be highly desirable and a valid driver's license; suitable for candidates with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Observe FIFO practices in storage and distribution.
• Isolate all product returns and potential warranties from stock.
• Mark off and account for incoming stock on arrival.
• Identify and report aged stock as required.
• Move freight and stock between storage, production, and loading areas.
• Stack products using pallets as directed.
• Receive and count stock, assist with stocktakes and reporting.
• Check incoming goods for damage and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with stocking showroom as needed.
• Participate in safety training and policies.

The role:

On offer is to co-ordinate the storage and distribution of the product. To support the business operational function, assisting in the warehouse to manage inventory through movements and stocktakes. Assist with Counter duties as required.

Your core duties & responsibilities will include:

• Ensure First in, First Out (FIFO) practices are observed
• Ensure all product returns including possible warranties are isolated from stock on hand and correctly identified
• Ensure all incoming stock items are marked off and accounted for as soon as the goods arrive
• Ensure aged stock items are identified and reported as required
• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles or containers.
• Stack products in locations such as transit sheds or in warehouse as directed, using pallets
• Receive and count stock items, and record data, assist with regular stocktakes, various stock reports manually or using computer
• Receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
• Be proactive in keeping a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse
• Provide assistance with stocking showroom
• Participation and compliance in all safety requirements, policies, and training

What you will need to succeed:

• Drivers licence for motor vehicle
• Use of workshop equipment including hand tools and safety equipment
• Forklift operation (Highly desirable)
