Job summary

Röhlig Logistics GmbH in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator for our newly built facility in Tullamarine. You will load/unload trucks with a counterbalance forklift, verify cargo against manifests, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely handling of shipments.

The role requires a current forklift licence, 2+ years in a Customs 77G bond store, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Customs 77G bond store.
• Current forklift licence with experience.
• Shipping container loading and unloading experience.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a can do attitude.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of DAFF, ABF and RACA requirements.
• Air cargo screening accreditation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks using a counterbalance forklift.
• Process un-pack reports for cargo.
• Cross-check cargo manifests against physical goods received.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning.
• Priority management, problem solving and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Overtime and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks using a counterbalance forklift
• Process un-pack reports for cargo
• Cross-check cargo manifests against physical goods received
• Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures
• Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning
• The ability to prioritise tasks, problem solve and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work independently and in a team
• Overtime/weekends on occasion

Requirements

• Current forklift licence with experience
