Job summary

Selecta is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team in the UK. You will handle picking, receipt, and dispatch of stock, maintain stock accuracy, and contribute to safe warehouse operations.

Key duties include processing paperwork, unloading and placing stock, assisting with stock takes, and following health and safety procedures. A valid forklift license (reach) and driving license are preferred, with opportunities for development and a stable full-time role.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse picking and dispatch processes.
• Forklift license or certification (reach) preferred.
• Able to lift and move stock safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work on own initiative and follow site rules.

Responsibilities

• Picking Operator and Wholesale orders.
• Process paperwork and match orders with delivery notes and invoices.
• Unload, check and place stock; assist with stock takes.
• Deliver stock to pallets and maintain housekeeping with safety procedures.
• Support general warehouse tasks as required by management.

The Role

As Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for general warehouse duties including picking, receipt, dispatch of stock, etc.

Key activities:

• Picking both Operator and Wholesale orders.

• Processing paperwork, matching orders with delivery notes, goods received notes and invoicing
• Unload, check and safely place Warehouse stock
• Assist with stock taking routines within a periodic timescale
• Stock Deliveries
• Maintain housekeeping and follow all Health and Safety procedures at all times
• Other ad hoc duties as required by the Warehouse or General Manager

• Fork Lift License (reach)
• Ability to drive a Fork Lift truck in and outside of the warehouse as per site rules
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to lift and move stock (confectionery, drinks cans, paper cups, syrup) from warehouse to pallets.
• Valid Driving License
