This position is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and delivering materials, equipment and consumables to support Council operations. The role maintains accurate inventory records in OneCouncil, assists with stock control and stocktakes, and ensures warehouse activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with procedures. Key challenges include managing competing operational priorities, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring timely service delivery while upholding workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
We are seeking a candidate with experience in warehouse or stores operations, sound computer skills for inventory systems, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices. A current driver’s licence and the ability to undertake manual handling tasks are essential.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $63,644 gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
