Martin Brower is seeking a Warehouse Leading Hand for our distribution center in Adelaide. You will support the shift supervisor to maintain output, safety and compliance, and coordinate team activities to meet dispatch deadlines.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a group and drive performance results.
• Effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable with a positive demeanour.
• A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage.
• Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high-reach is essential.
• Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.
• Ability to meet the role requirements and undertake pre-employment background and medical (including Drug and alcohol) testing.

Responsibilities

• Support the shift supervisor in ensuring workplace output, productivity level and compliance.
• Coordinate work in the team to ensure completion of work in a timely and accurate manner to meet dispatch requirements and fulfill on time delivery targets.
• Champion the company policies and procedures and ensure the team is adhering to all safety, quality and other national requirements.
• Provide training to operatives as and when required.
• Conduct audit of pick schedules as well as oversee and audit inventory and cycle counting procedures.
• Undertaking additional tasks as directed.
