MUVE Logistics is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator for its Bayswater VIC facility. The role is casual to permanent with full-time hours, starting immediately. The successful candidate will manage daily warehouse tasks, load/unload palletised freight, pick and pack orders, and handle inventory using RF scanners and a WMS.

Forklift operations and adherence to food safety standards are essential. The position offers an autonomous, hands-on role within a growing national logistics business,

Warehouse/Forklift Operator - Bayswater VIC

Casual to Permanent | Full-Time Hours | Immediate Start Available

MUVE Logistics is a growing national logistics and warehousing business seeking an experienced, reliable Warehouse/Forklift Operator to join our Bayswater team.

This hands-on role would suit an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand who is confident working autonomously, organising daily workloads and taking ownership of warehouse operations.

We have one position available, primarily based at Bayswater.

Our Bayswater facility is an ambient warehouse specialising in the storage and handling of food ingredients, where accuracy, cleanliness and high standards of warehouse hygiene are essential.

The position will commence on a casual basis with full-time hours available, with the opportunity to transition into permanent employment for the right candidate.

Applicants must be available to work between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with start and finish times varying according to operational requirements.

About the Role

• Organising and prioritising daily warehouse tasks to meet receiving and dispatch requirements
• Loading and unloading palletised freight
• Pick packing and order fulfilment
• Receiving and dispatching food ingredients and other stock
• Inventory management and stock control
• Pallet wrapping and freight staging
• Safely operating forklifts, including High Reach
• Operating HR vehicles for local pallet movements and deliveries as required, subject to holding the appropriate licence
• Using RF scanners to accurately record inventory movements
• Working within CartonCloud or a similar Warehouse Management System
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
• Identifying and communicating stock discrepancies, operational issues and safety concerns
• Following all safety procedures and site requirements
• Supporting the wider warehouse and transport team as required

About You

• Previous warehouse, transport or logistics experience
• Warehouse Leading Hand experience, or a strong background taking responsibility for daily warehouse activities
• The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion
• A current LF Forklift Licence - essential
• High Reach forklift experience - essential
• Experience loading, unloading and handling palletised freight
• Experience using RF scanners and CartonCloud or a similar WMS
• An understanding of warehouse hygiene and food safety requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accurate stock handling
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• A reliable work ethic and proactive approach to solving problems
• The ability to safely undertake the physical requirements of the role
• Willingness and ability to travel between Bayswater and Dandenong South if required
