Job summary

Alpha Furnishers Carpet Court in Armidale NSW is seeking a Warehousing & Delivery Driver for a full-time role. You will manage warehouse operations and safely deliver flooring and furniture to customers across the region.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, preparing delivery orders, loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery records. A valid licence and forklift certification are required, with a preference for warehousing experience and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Previous warehousing/logistics experience preferred.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items regularly.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to load/unload and organise stock.
• Prepare delivery orders, ensure items are picked, packed and ready for dispatch.
• Drive delivery vehicles safely to customer locations.
• Deliver furnishings and carpets and handle items with care.
• Obtain customer signatures and manage delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and delivery transactions.
• Inspect vehicles and warehouse equipment for safety and maintenance.
