Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an intermediate-level Solution Design Engineer based in Orchard Hills, NSW, to design and validate automated warehouse solutions for new and existing customers. You will translate customer requirements into practical, commercially viable designs and work with cross-functional teams from bid through implementation.

You will analyze requirements, develop costed solutions, and support presentations to customers and internal stakeholders, while contributing to CEVA's design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; design or layout software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in warehouse operations or solution design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design warehouse solutions, evaluating storage, material handling, and automation against requirements.
• Perform requirements analysis, manpower calculations, and cost-benefit assessments for mid-to-high complexity opportunities.
• Develop proposal deliverables and present solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support end-to-end bid processes, including tender evaluation and RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.
• Assess solution efficiency and financial impact; identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Finance, WMS, and implementation teams to deliver practical solutions.
• Coach and mentor Solution Design Analysts in design, automation, and cost modelling.
