Job summary

RAINBOW SHADE is seeking a proactive Warehouse Assistant in Upper Coomera, Queensland for a full-time, on-site position at our warehouse facility. You will support daily operations, ensure accurate order picking and packing, and help maintain inventory and safety standards.

The role requires warehouse experience, physical fitness, and a reliable team-focused attitude. Forklift license and a valid driver's license are advantageous for handling equipment and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment.
• Ability to lift, carry and move goods regularly and stay on your feet.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy.
• Valid driver's license (preferred) and forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading goods, verifying against documentation and checking for damage.
• Organizing and storing products efficiently within the warehouse.
• Picking and packing customer orders to meet delivery schedules.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock counts.
• Labelling, scanning and tracking products using warehouse management systems.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Supporting the team during peak periods.
• Reporting damaged goods, discrepancies or safety hazards to management.
