Warehouse Assistant/Pick Packer - Monday to Friday - Ongoing

We’re currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant/Pick Packer to join the team.
This is a full-time Monday to Friday role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the organisation of the warehouse – organise shelving materials, wrapping skids, and preparing them to be lifted onto the racks
- Conduct order picking, shipping & receiving, organising inventory in the warehouse. Gathering materials from a Pick List and picking retail orders from the picking locations and packing according to shipping standards
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, unload truck/ trailers, verifying packing slip versus receipt
- Responsible for organising and retrieving stock, including picking and filling orders, packing and shipping, organising and retrieving stock, load trucks/ trailers, verifying shipment documentation vs. actual shipment
- Verifying expiry dates, or asking supervisor to check lot codes and COAs; providing materials for testing
- Labeling/Releasing stock and orders
- Ensure standards for quality and health and safety are met
- Assist in maintaining warehouse standards of cleanliness and organisation and ensure tidiness standards are always respected and maintained
- Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and procedures (e.g. shipments, safety standards, stocking)
- Verify inventory control and counts to ensure product stock is up to date
- Perform operational duties such as receiving, restocking, replenishing, wrapping skids
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Relevant warehouse and fulfilment experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc.
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to navigate between several modules/programs (ERP/Microsoft D365 experience a plus but not required)
- Effective time management and communication skills
Own transport to the facility in Port Melbourne and steel-cap boots required.
