Job summary

Petstock Group is seeking a Warehouse Team Member in Melbourne, Australia. You will engage in picking, packing, dispatching, stock control, and safe warehouse operations to support both in-store and online services.

We value reliability, accuracy, and the ability to work well within a team, following safety guidelines and contributing to a positive workplace culture. Training will be provided and the role supports community-focused brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pick-packer role in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Able to lift and carry stock up to 20 kg.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders to a high standard and achieve excellent pick rates.
• Assist with receiving inbound goods, cycle counts and stock levels.
• Load and unload courier trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and daily housekeeping tasks.
• Support with various general warehouse duties as directed by the team leader.

A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Team Member:

• Picking, Packing & Dispatching: Fulfill orders to a high standard and achieve excellent pick rates.
• Stock Control: Assist with receiving inbound goods, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Stock Integrity: Work alongside the team to maintain stock accuracy through replenishment, expiry date checks, and regular stock takes.
• Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload courier trucks.
• Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, safe work environment and contribute to daily housekeeping tasks.
• General Warehouse Duties: Support with various tasks as directed by the team leader.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Previous experience in a pick-packer role in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Motivation & Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to consistently lift and carry stock (up to 20kg).
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and work conditions.
• Health & Safety: A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
