Job summary

Inspire Program Australia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant for its Seven Hills NSW location. The casual role supports core warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing stock, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

You will help maintain inventory, pack orders, and assist with counts while upholding a tidy, compliant workspace. WWCC plus Mandatory Child Safety Training are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to lift and move items safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock records.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible for casual shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory recording.
• Must obtain WWCC and complete Mandatory Child Safety Training.

Job description

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Inspire in Seven Hills, NSW. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst supporting the core operations of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the movement, storage and distribution of resources essential to the business operations.

What you'll be doing

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and checking incoming stock
• Organising and storing items in the warehouse
• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently to fulfil centre orders
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock counts and audits
• Ensuring the warehouse environment is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times
• Supporting the warehouse team to meet operational deadlines

What we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar logistics environment
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items safely
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking, packing and recording stock information
• Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to accommodate casual shift patterns
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for recording and retrieving inventory information
• Obtain a WWCC and complete Mandatory Child Safety Training, as you are working with a OOSH provider
