Job summary

RecruitShop seeks an Installer / Carpenter in regional QLD. You will ensure high-quality cabin and home installations, reading construction drawings and maintaining service quality from start to finish. Occasional travel to diverse sites, with overnight blocks, is expected.

The role demands trade-qualified carpentry experience, a current licence, and a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork. Travel across QLD with a Ute, accommodation and meals provided is included.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified carpenter with cabin/home installation experience.
• Desirable: tiling, plastering or painting experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality installations of cabins and homes.
• Read and construct directly from off-the-plan drawings.
• Maintain high service quality from start to finish of each job.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, sub-contractors and staff/owners.
• Travel to various sites, including overnight stays (2–4 weeks).

About The Opportunity

As an Installer / Carpenter, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality installations and exceptional service to clients.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Quality installation of cabins and homes, ensuring a premium service is provided to the client
• Reading and constructing directly from off-the-plan construction drawings
• Maintaining a high quality of service from start to finish of each job
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and existing staff/owners
• Travelling to various sites, sometimes overnight and sometimes for 2-4 weeks at a time

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a trade-qualified carpenter
• Tiling, plastering or painting experience (desirable but not essential)
• A current driver's licence
• A strong commitment to quality and customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
