Mackay Sugar is seeking a Warehouse Assistant at Racecourse Mill, Mackay QLD. You will support day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring stock is available and properly recorded, while upholding safety and teamwork.

Reporting to the Inventory Coordinator, you will handle goods receipt, stock issues, and Just in Time deliveries, with training and PPE provided. This is a permanent full-time role with development opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Warehouse and Stores.
• Current Forklift License (LF) and Drivers Licence.
• Proficiency with SAP R3 and MS Office.

About the role

Reporting to the Inventory Coordinator, this exciting opportunity will see you play an important role in the day-to-day management of warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will help ensure the right stock is available at the right time by maintaining inventory levels and supporting efficient store functions. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be self-motivated, safety-focused, and committed to delivering strong productivity outcomes. This position is currently based at Racecourse Mill.

Duties include

• Goods receipt materials and services.
• Issue of stock materials to reservations and counter service.
• Ensure correct volumes of stock items are maintained or available through ‘Just in Time deliveries.
