Woods & Co Recruitment is partnering with a well-established building materials business in Melbourne to recruit a Warehouse Assistant. You will receive stock, pick/pack orders, and assist with deliveries while operating a forklift in a busy warehouse environment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with no weekend work, and offers a 70,000 AUD per year salary plus super. Join a close-knit team committed to quality and service and grow with a respected company in the industry.

Qualifications

• Current forklift licence.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Previous warehouse or stores experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform manual handling duties.
• A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming stock and check deliveries against purchase orders.
• Pick, pack and label customer orders accurately.
• Assist with deliveries to customers and construction sites.
• Load and unload products using a forklift.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory management.
• Support the wider warehouse and timber yard team when required.
