Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager and follow daily directions.
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders promptly.
• Check orders for accuracy and secure packing for delivery.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish as required.
• Coordinate with couriers and prepare freight orders.
• Record stock discrepancies and report issues.
• Maintain safety and orderly workspace.

Ventair is currently offering a full-time position in the Queensland Warehouse for a Warehouse Assistant, which will include a variety of warehouse related roles and provides a safe and fair working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Warehouse Manager and follow daily operational directions
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner
• Check orders for accuracy and ensure goods are securely packed for delivery
• Check stock levels and replenish stock as required
• Coordinate with and assist couriers
• Process warehouse orders and transactions in the database
• Prepare freight orders ready for picking and dispatch
• Report stock shortages, discrepancies and anomalies
• Report damaged stock, equipment faults or failures to the Warehouse Manager

To be successful you will need:

• Current Forklift licence preferred but not necessary
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude with strong team-building and motivational skills, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• computer skills are essential

Experience in the electrical, ventilation, or building products industry is advantageous but not essential.
