Jack Dedman Tiling Pty Ltd in Mildura, VIC, is seeking a motivated Wall & Floor Tiling Apprentice to join their team. This full-time apprenticeship provides hands-on training in tiling, surface preparation, and waterproofing under the guidance of experienced tilers.

You will learn measuring, cutting, laying tiles, grouting, and safety on construction sites, with on-site training and potential ongoing employment after completion.

• Cut and shape tiles to fit around fixtures and corners.
• Grout tiles and clean excess grout for a professional finish.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a tidy, safe site.
• Learn about tile materials and installation techniques from supervisors.
• Assist with waterproofing membranes and prep materials.
• Contribute to project completion and client satisfaction with quality workmanship.

Jack Dedman Tiling Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Wall & Floor Tiling Apprentice in Mildura, VIC. This is a full-time apprenticeship opportunity that will provide you with comprehensive training in the building trades, specifically in wall and floor tiling. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tilers, developing practical skills whilst gaining nationally recognised qualifications. This role is fundamental to our business, as it allows us to build our skilled workforce whilst ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality tiling services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and setting out work areas, including measuring surfaces and marking guidelines for tile placement
• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, levelling and applying appropriate primers or adhesive bases
• Applying adhesive and laying tiles to walls and floors with precision and attention to detail
• Cutting and shaping tiles to fit around fixtures, corners and irregular spaces using appropriate tools
• Grouting tiles and cleaning excess grout to create professional finishes
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
• Learning about different tile materials, adhesives and installation techniques from experienced supervisors
• Assisting with the installation of waterproofing membranes and other preparatory materials
• Contributing to project completion and client satisfaction through quality workmanship
