Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for ongoing casual work across builders, landscapers, manufacturers, shopfitters and industrial sites in the region. You’ll earn consistent weekly pay and have the opportunity to secure permanent roles after proving yourself on site.

We require at least 12 months of general labouring or trade assistant experience, a Construction White Card, and a current Driver Licence with reliable transport where possible.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant is required.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport are highly preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up

• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
