Job summary

Seymour Whyte invites an experienced Project Engineer to join our WA team in Perth on a new roads project. This drive-in drive-out role with a 5:2 roster focuses on coordinating construction activities, safety, and timely delivery in line with project requirements.

You will work closely with the project delivery team, manage subcontractors and procurement, and develop project documentation to support successful outcomes on Main Roads works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering Main Roads projects.
• Solid background in road construction.
• Ability to coordinate construction activities safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site construction engineering activities.
• Monitor progress and report against the project program.
• Track costs, revenue, productivity and forecasts.
• Manage subcontractors, supervisors, trades and site resources.
• Interpret designs and propose practical construction solutions.
• Develop ITPs, SWMS and project documentation.
• Identify safety, delivery and commercial risks.
• Contribute to site meetings and pre-starts.
