Job summary

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) is seeking a senior executive to lead the department’s financial strategy and services. Reporting to the Managing Director, the CFO will provide high-level strategic and technical advice and drive governance and performance across DPIRD and related entities in Western Australia.

You will lead a team of finance and procurement professionals, influence senior leadership, and oversee CFO services for nine Regional Development

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance and corporate services teams at executive level.
• Ability to deliver strategic financial governance and reporting.
• Eligibility to work in Australia with CPA/CA membership.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level strategic and technical financial advice to executive leadership.
• Lead the department's financial strategy, governance and performance.
