Job summary

Fortive Corporation, through Industrial Scientific, seeks a District Sales Manager for Western Australia. Based in WA, you will grow market share by selling gas detection solutions, managing distributors, and developing new business with a focus on iNet services and traditional sales channels.

You will travel up to 50% across Australia, build strong customer relationships, and work within a fast-paced sales environment to meet targets and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years sales experience with Australian industrial customers (oil & gas, mining, chemicals, utilities)
• Experience supporting distribution channels and partner networks
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build relationships via phone and email
• Willing to travel up to 50% across Australia
• Sales and service software familiarity (Salesforce, maintenance programs) would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Sell gas detection solutions through distribution and directly to customers in Australia
• Generate new sales opportunities and business development
• Position and promote the Industrial Scientific product suite and iNet as a service
• Increase and self-generate new leads for iNet and traditional sales
• Prospect new business, prepare proposals, maintain relationships
• Train distributor partners and manage distribution channels
• Maintain CRM and provide updated sales funnel reports
• Attend exhibitions and sales meetings with accurate documentation
• Provide sales and technical assistance as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
