The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights, value measurement, forecasting, and portfolio analytics.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial performance, customer analytics, and business strategy, helping stakeholders understand commercial outcomes, identify growth opportunities, and measure the value delivered by key initiatives. You will work closely with business, marketing, finance, and operational teams to translate data into actionable recommendations that drive customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, track, and report on business value and commercial outcomes across key initiatives.
• Perform commercial performance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
• Develop forecasts, business cases, ROI assessments, and commercial value models.
• Support portfolio analytics activities, ensuring investment decisions are supported by accurate data and insights.
• Produce dashboards, reports, and executive-level insights that drive informed decision-making.
• Analyse customer, financial, operational, and commercial data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, finance, strategy, and customer teams.

What You'll Need

• Degree qualification in Commerce, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience working in analytics, insights, commercial performance, strategy, or business analysis roles.
• Demonstrated experience delivering commercial insights and performance analysis in complex business environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation platforms.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams and stakeholder environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making through data.

Desirable Skills

• Experience developing business cases, forecasting models, and ROI assessments.
• Telecommunications, marketing, customer lifecycle, retention, or customer analytics experience.
• Knowledge of value realisation, benefits tracking, or portfolio management frameworks.
• Experience with customer value management, decisioning platforms, or personalisation programs.
• Exposure to platforms such as Pega or similar customer decisioning solutions.
