Job summary

Trust Medical Recruitment is sourcing a Vocationally registered GP to service aged care facilities in Canberra on a refer-and-request basis. The role combines in-person visits and telehealth, with bulk billed services on refer-and-request Provider Numbers.

You will join a collaborative care model including doctors, nurses, geriatricians, carers and allied health staff to improve access and continuity of care for residents. Flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Doctors must have Vocational or General Registration
• Doctors must have full Australian work rights
• Doctors must have experience in ED and/or General Practice
• Doctors restricted by moratorium may apply

Responsibilities

• Refer and request Provider Number for Nursing Homes across Canberra
• Provide a mix of in-person visits and telehealth to service aged care facilities
• Deliver bulk billed services on refer and request Provider Number
• Participate in a collaborative care model with a team of clinicians and care staff
• Support coordination and continuity of care for residents

• Refer and Request Provider Number for Nursing Homes throughout the Canberra
• $220 + GST per hour

We are working with a company that are looking for Vocationally or Generally registered GP to work on a refer and request basis for an Aged Care GP Program. The Doctor will be using a combination of visits or telehealth to service the areas. Items will be bulk billed on refer and request provider Number.
