Job summary

Canterbury College is seeking a passionate Studio Instructor (Voice) to join our Performing Arts team in a casual role. You will provide high-quality vocal music tuition to students across a range of year levels, inspiring technical proficiency and participation in the college's broader performing arts program.

The role requires strong vocal pedagogy, differentiation for diverse learners, and excellent communication with students and families.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma qualifications relevant to the position.
Strong understanding of vocal pedagogy and ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, individualised vocal music tuition to students Prep to Year 12.
Inspire love of music, develop technical proficiency and support participation in the college's performing arts program.
Use engaging teaching methods and technology to enhance learning experiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to support performances, events, assessments and other activities.
Manage lesson schedules, attendance, and administration as required.
Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
Contribute to a collaborative, professional team culture.
Ensure compliance with College policies and safety standards.
