Job summary

XPT Software Australia is seeking a seasoned VCF Administrator to manage and support VMware Cloud Foundation environments in Sydney. You will oversee SDDC Manager operations, workload domains, upgrades, and patching to ensure high availability and performance.

You will handle ESXi/vCenter/vSAN and NSX-T components, monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to change management and disaster recovery efforts. Automation through PowerCLI/PowerShell is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
• Hands-on administration of SDDC Manager, workload domains, upgrades and patching.
• Expertise in vSphere/vCenter/ESXi with DRS, HA, vMotion and clustering.
• Strong NSX-T networking, including distributed switches and security policies.
• Experience with incident/problem/change management, performance monitoring, and Linux admin.
• PowerCLI/PowerShell scripting for automation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation environments and SDDC Manager operations.
• Deploy and maintain workload domains, perform upgrades and patching.
• Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, VMs, vSAN clusters, and NSX-T networking.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, and support change implementations.
• Implement automation with PowerCLI/PowerShell; support security, access, audits.
