Job summary

XPT Software in Sydney seeks a seasoned VCF Administrator (JL5) with 8+ years’ experience to manage VMware Cloud Foundation environments, SDDC Manager operations, and workload domains, including upgrades and patching.

You will oversee ESXi/vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T components, monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, participate in change control, and drive automation with PowerCLI/PowerShell, while supporting security, access management, and audits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of VCF administration experience.
• Proven ability to manage SDDC Manager and workload domains.
• Extensive knowledge of ESXi, vCenter, vSAN and NSX-T components.
• Experience with automation using PowerCLI/PowerShell and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation environments and SDDC Manager operations.
• Deploy and maintain workload domains, perform upgrades and patching.
• Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, VMs, vSAN storage clusters, and NSX-T networking.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, and participate in change implementations.
• Perform capacity planning, maintain documentation, and support disaster recovery activities.
• Implement automation with PowerCLI/PowerShell and handle security/compliance and audits.
