Job summary

NSW Health's Canterbury Hospital in Sydney is seeking a Visiting Medical Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our team for a temporary period up to 12 months. The role focuses on delivering high-quality O&G diagnostic and consultative services and contributing to teaching and research within the department.

The successful candidate will be a current medical practitioner registered or eligible with AHPRA, with FRANZCOG or equivalent specialist recognition, and will participate in on-call

Qualifications

• Current registered medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA.
• Fellowship with FRANZCOG and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
• Willingness to participate in obstetrics on-call roster and hospital teaching/research activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic and consultative obstetrics and gynaecology services.
• Participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Department and Hospital.
