Job summary

Sydney Local Health District seeks a dedicated Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join Canterbury Hospital. The role focuses on clinical management, diagnostics and consultations in O&G, with teaching, research and quality improvement responsibilities as part of the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

The successful candidate will be a registered medical practitioner with AHPRA or eligible, and hold FRANZCOG or equivalent recognition.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with AHPRA or eligible for registration.
• FRANZCOG fellowship or recognised equivalent required.
• Be able to participate in an obstetrics on-call roster and contribute to a busy service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality clinical management, diagnostic and consultative O&G services.
• Participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities.
• Contribute to obstetric on-call roster and support departmental operations.
