Job summary

MacKillop College, Bathurst invites applications for a Secondary Teacher - Visual Arts (Years 7–12). You will collaboratively develop curriculum, monitor student progress, and use inclusive teaching practices to support diverse learners.

This permanent full-time role is at an all-girls Catholic secondary school and requires NSW teaching accreditation. You will join a supportive team, contribute to school life, and pursue ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
• Capacity to monitor and assess student learning data to inform teaching.
• Commitment to contribute to a broad range of school activities and reflect on professional practice.
• Desire to engage with a Catholic learning organisation.
• Ability to develop positive relationships in the classroom based on mutual respect.
• Up to date knowledge of NSW/NESA and Australian Curriculum requirements for all stages in your KLA area.

Responsibilities

• Create learner-centred, supportive classrooms aligned with curriculum policies.
• Develop and implement quality curriculum programs; assess and report student progress.
• Use inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
• Analyze assessment data to identify barriers and drive improvement.
