Job summary

Mildura Specialist School in Victoria seeks a Principal (and an assistant principal) to lead and manage planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of education for all students in a dynamic community.

You will steward resources, collaborate with school council, engage families and local partners, and drive professional learning, inclusion and child-safe practices, in line with Department policies and statewide guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of education for all students.
• Act as executive officer of the school council and provide advice.
• Establish and manage financial and administrative systems in line with Department requirements.
• Represent the Department in the school and local community.
• Implement school council decisions and contribute to policy and strategic planning.
• Manage and integrate school resources including staff, facilities and budget.
• Engage staff, students and families in policy development and review.
• Report on school achievements to the Department, school community and students.
