Job summary

Armstrong Creek School invites applications for the role of P-12 Disability and Inclusion Lead, 7-12 Special Education. The assistant principal reports directly to the principal and will lead inclusive education programs across Years Prep to 12 within the school's strategic framework.

The role focuses on developing, provisioning and evaluating the education program, with authority over budgets, staff and policy implementation to improve student outcomes and inclusion for all learners.

Responsibilities

• supervision and coordination of the work of senior curriculum or level coordinators;
• allocation of budgets, positions of responsibility and other resources within the area of responsibility;
• supervision of the delivery of teaching programs;
• management of programs to improve the knowledge and experience of staff;
• responsibility for general discipline matters beyond the management of classroom teachers and year level coordinators;
• contribute to the overall management of the school;
