Job summary

Children First Early Education Mernda seeks a visionary Centre Director to lead operations and governance within a thriving early learning centre in Mernda, VIC. The role focuses on providing strategic leadership and ensuring high-quality teaching standards.

You will manage day-to-day operations, guide staff, oversee rosters and budgets, and build strong relationships with families and the local community while driving pedagogical excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.
• Experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood setting.
• Current WWCC, first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
• Extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS), and QIP.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day operations of the Centre in line with legislative requirements, company policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to all staff.
• Ensure quality early learning programs are delivered by a passionate team of Educators.
• Manage staffing rosters efficiently.
• Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, families, children and the local business community.
