Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a casual Patient Registration Officer (Administrative Officer Level 3) to support the virtualADULTS service at the Sydney Virtual Hospital. The role provides high-level administrative support across patient registration, records management and data entry, with extended hours and a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Has qualifications in Health Administration and/or proven experience in providing high level administrative support with experience in clinical services preferred.
• Demonstrates attention to detail with high accuracy when using various computer systems and admin processes.
• Shows strong organisational skills to multitask and meet deadlines and KPIs in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level administrative support to the virtualADULTS service.
• Handle patient registration and manage patient information and records.
• Perform data entry in the electronic medical record and reconcile data.
• Support the day-to-day running of the service including rostering and coverage when needed.
