Job summary

The Department of Justice is seeking a Manager, Violent Extremism (VE) Case Coordination to provide a critical role at Corrections Victoria.

You will lead a specialised team, coordinate risk interventions and support decision makers, working with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen outcomes for people in custody.

A background in CV policies, advanced case management and CVE knowledge is preferred, with pre-employment checks required.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of Corrections Victoria policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
• Advanced case management experience, including undertaking risk assessments.
• Knowledge of CVE would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise a specialised team, providing reflective practice and professional development to maximise staff potential and integrity.
• Develop and provide quality assurance of complex documents prepared for stakeholders and decision makers involved in the CVE Service Delivery Model.
• Coordinate appropriate interventions to mitigate violent extremism risk and support decision makers and frontline staff.
