Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC is seeking a Senior Case Manager to support people at risk of violent extremism. You will plan and deliver tailored support to reduce risk and improve safety in Melbourne.

You will manage a varied caseload, coordinate services, monitor progress and produce clear reports for decisions. A relevant qualification is desirable, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and risk awareness.

Qualifications

• Must have strong case management skills and handle risk with complex needs.
• Ability to plan and deliver tailored support addressing risks and needs.
• Experience improving work guides and applying legal requirements to casework.
• Sound judgement and clear communication with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload, assess risk and plan support for each person.
• Coordinate tailored support services and ensure needs are met.
• Monitor progress, address challenging behaviour and escalate risks as needed.
• Prepare clear reports, advice and briefings for key decisions.
• Improve case management guides and contribute to safe, effective programs.
