Job summary

Vinarchy is seeking casual winery staff for the 2027 vintage season in Berri, South Australia. You will be hands-on, working outdoors, operating presses and other winery equipment, and supporting grape receival, juice transfers, and fermentation tasks.

The role is fast-paced, physically demanding and runs through the vintage period, with training provided and long shifts across a 6-day week. The team emphasizes collaboration, safety, and producing high-quality wine; visa holders welcome and

Qualifications

• Must have full working rights; visa holders welcome.
• Physically fit to undertake manual tasks and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces (training provided).
• Willingness to work long shifts across a 6‑day week.
• Previous vintage experience is great but not essential; training provided by Vinarchy.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses, crushers, pumps and other winery equipment.
• Assist with grape receival, crushing and juice/wine transfers.
• Perform pump-overs, rack-and-returns, additions and fermentation support.
• Carry out barrel work: filling, emptying, topping and cleaning.
• Record data on log sheets and cellar notes.
